Help! I am randomly losing my connection to CaseCATalyst. I read through a previous post and have done everything that was recommended. I have done the following:I made sure COM ports are on the same number in Device Manager and CaseCAT.I made sure Device/Printers, Stenograph PDF Printer is on a different COM port than CaseCAT.I went in and changed all power management in the USB Root Hubs not to shut off to save power.Ive tried CaseCAT on Source = Writer, Output = None.Ive tried CaseCAT on Source = Writer, Output = StenoKeys.I have my CastCAT set to run as Admin.Ive tried different USB to serial adapters. I also had my writer serviced and replaced the (??? name) plug to connect to CaseCAT. I have a Stentura 400srt and a fairly new (year and a half) laptop that runs Windows 7.I called Stenograph and the man suggested that I try to connect another writer to my laptop and see if that one stays connected. He said that it could be any number of things and it would be difficult to troubleshoot the possiblities. So, here I am. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It is super frustrating to want to practice and spend 90 percent of the time troubleshooting.
